The Value of Place

One of the most valuable commands for our dogs who live with little humans or other pets like cats who don’t appreciate being clobbered is the place command!

When a dog is holding place command with accountability (meaning that he is supervised by adult humans, back tied for extra safety and corrected for breaking command) he’s NOT:
*stealing and eating laundry
*counter surfing
*stealing food
*bowling over children
*squishing and harassing cats
*barking and rushing the door
*jumping on people
*slinging drool on the walls and ceiling
*barking at windows
*knocking people down or up the stairs
*drinking from toilets
*or any other unwanted behaviour that a young and irresponsible rascals of a dog can do when he gets the privilege of free roaming!

Thank you Place Command!
