Board & Train 

$2700*/3 weeks and $700*/week for additional weeks.

Anxious and/or aggressive dogs require a mandatory 6- 8 weeks of board and train to address their complex training needs.

Once accepted into the program you will receive an invoice. Reservation of your spot is not guaranteed until payment is received.

*Occasionally there is a need for additional weeks or a bigger collar, and these needs will be assessed and charged early into the training plan.

During training your dog’s unwanted behaviour will be addressed and they will learn obedience commands, crate manners, socialization and household manners:

• Down/Stay

• Sit/Stay

• Place

• Heel

• Come

Prices include Hermspenger prong collar and long line.

Prices DO NOT include the Educator E-Collar which ranges in price from $290 - $395 plus tax. We will purchase this collar and add it to the invoice.

***All dogs that have shown reactivity, aggression or have a bite history MUST be muzzle conditioned before coming to our facility for the safety of our employees. Please click here for a video on muzzle conditioning.

*Disclaimer: All dogs must be leashed and wearing their training tools, including a muzzle (if applicable and conditioned) and be under the control of their owner via these tools and leash when exiting the vehicle. All dogs must be dropped off and picked up by their owner(s) only, no children should come to the facility for the safety of all parties.

Our highly regarded Board & Train program is a great option for any dog!  We see every sort of dog in our Board & Train program- from goofy and outgoing to shy and timid - right up to reactive or aggressive.  Our Board & Train program is highly recommended for all dogs and mandatory for dogs who are struggling with any amount of reactivity, aggression, resource guarding, or other intense issues.  

During this program your dog will live with us in our home and receive training around the clock as they join our day to day routine.  Most dogs benefit immensely from becoming fully immersed in the training process and this approach allows us to give very specialized, one-on-one attention to your dog and your unique situation.  We find that this approach allows us to more quickly find the root of your dog’s issues and get to work implementing the solutions and strategies for success.

You, the owner, will benefit from a lot of personalized training as well.  We start involving you, the owner, immediately through our daily Facebook and Instagram video updates. This will keep you in the loop on what your dog has learned and teach you how to use the tools and how to live 'the training lifestyle' in preparation for your dog's return home.  Our board and train clients enjoy more training success because they learn the skills they need to take over, once the dog has been trained by us, because of our program.  In this program we strive to make the process as smooth and comfortable as possible for both of you by first training the dog and then bringing in you, the owner, and training you with two 1.5 hour back to back sessions.  So not to worry, you won't miss out on a thing!

The length of the program will be tailored to the individual needs of your dog, starting at a three week program and increasing in time based on the severity of your dog’s needs.

We specialize in modern, low level, communication style E-Collar training.  Our E-Collar program is nothing like the E-Collar training of the past.  Modern E-Collar Training utilizes the softest, most gentle remote communication, and is one of the most humane and effective approaches available in dog training.  We pride ourselves on our compassionate and fair approach.

During our Board & Train program, we will address all forms of unwanted behavior, including, but not limited to: reactivity, resource guarding, separation anxiety, fear/insecurity, jumping, nipping/mouthing, counter surfing, etc.  We will also cover the basic commands Sit/Stay, Down/Stay, Place, Heel, Come/Recall – as well as Crate Training, Waiting for Food, and Waiting at Thresholds.

We also include approximately 4.5 hours of one-on-one training for you the owner: a 30 minute meeting at our place at time of drop off; two 1.5 hour go home sessions where we will transfer all the information, techniques, and strategies to you to ensure continued success; one 1 hour follow up at your home and email and phone support after the program is completed.

Dogs who have successfully completed our Board & Train program and have upkeep their skills at home become eligible for boarding/ overnight stays at our facility as well!
